
Description	ExternalCollect is an automatic recording data system which communicates with SCADA or other systems. The data collected by external systems is transferred into OEE Toolkit.
Deployment area	ExternalCollect is at its best when the external system measures all the data relevant to the OEE. The externally collected data can be transferred directly to OEE Toolkit. OEE Toolkit then functions as a calculating and display shell.
Advantage	All production data collected does not have to be entered again. This avoids double work.
Disadvantage	Generally, the data collected is either unusable or only usable with considerable effort. The quality of standstill details generated by PLC or SCADA is thus inadequate.
