
Description	RemoteCollect is an automatic data recording system whereby the operator enters the reason for the standstill manually. RemoteCollect works via remote I/O with sensors which record the status of the machine. If the machine status changes, RemoteCollect asks the operator for the reason. Entering the standstill reason can be done using ScanCollect, with a touchscreen or using a PC. RemoteCollect also records the number of good and rejected products.
Deployment area	RemoteCollect can be deployed when it is possible to position a computer in the vicinity of the machine.
Advantages	RemoteCollect measures the time during which the machine is in action or is at a standstill, and the number of good and rejected products. The OEE measurement is accurate. The operator can start the machine first, before entering the reasons for a standstill. The service report is available immediately after the shift. Real-time OEE display at the machinery. The extra hardware costs are only € 350 - € 450 per machine.
Disadvantages	A computer is needed on the line. Hardware must be installed.
